Essence of Christmas

       
          Cold breeze of the wind, bright lights every night, Christmas songs ringing outside your home and a decorated, colorful and most importantly a happy and home! YES!, Christmas is the day! The day that we always want and look up to...
           It's funny but it's the fact, every student want longly for our Christmas break, no more assignments, no more review and what I want the most is no more waking up early. But what is Christmas for me? And what is the real essence of Christmas? Well, Christmas for me is a pure rest day, started waking up with my pajamas, with a big grin on my face that I can wake up any time I want!
          My Christmas break is simple, mostly doing nothing every day but wanting for the Christmas to come. Received gifts from my relatives and went out for a computer game til I drop but on the 24th of December, together with my family we spent the night silently but happily, in midnight dinner. But before we eat, we did not forget to pray. I think that is the most important event of the day, to thank the Lord for everything.
          So Christmas is not about giving gifts to our friends and relatives, nor about singing in front of house and asking for money. But it's the time for us to remember that it is the time for us to remember that this day is the birth of Jesus Christ, the only child of God. And it's time for us to thank him properly for sacrificing Himself to save many lives of people and continuing to bring joy to us...

          Teachers are considered to be the second parents of a child. They are the one who teaches you good things and guides you to a right path. Teachers are treasures of the society. Without teachers, there are no engineers, doctors, soldiers, and another teachers. As you can see, they are the ones who helps person to become a successful in life. They teaches us how to become a good citizen, every information in each subject and everything that is needed to be learn. I thank them for becoming a teacher and helping us to feed our knowledge with their knowledge. I thank them for scolding us in a right way. I hope that you will become a model to the eyes of the students so that many students will go to the right path :)
        

Heroes Our Savior

          When I was a child, for me a hero is a skilled man with cool costume who saves people from a bad guy. But, what is the meaning of true hero?
          Now, for me a true hero don't have any super powers, wearing any cool costume, flying around the city, nor killing demons. They're just a regular human who guides me in everything I do and they always helps me when I have a problem. They doing everything just to make sure that I have a succesfull future. Do you know who are they? Batman? Superman? Spiderman? Green Lantern? Flash? Wonderwoman? A very BIG BIG no!!! They are my PARENTS. Without them, I will never be a man. They are teaching me to become a better and stronger person. They are the one that teaches me how to stand up to the problems. Without them, I cannot achieved what I've achieved in my life. They are my True Heroes!
          We people needs guidance. They are the ones who molds us to become a better man. So let us thank our parents who are doing anything just to make sure that we are having a better future. And I also thank God for giving them to my life.

Importance of Language

          Language is how we communicate each other. It helps us to say what we think and feel inside, and by using this, we can understand each other. Language can be written or spoken.
          We filipinos have many languages. We can hear them most in Visayas and Mindanao because different language are used in different cities like in Surigao del Sur - Waray, Cebu - Cebuano, Bicol - Bikolano and many more. But the most common used here in the Philippines is Tagalog. This can help us to communicate even though you are in the other cities like me, I was born and raised in Manila and when I was in Grade 2, we transferred here in Vigan. I cannot understand their language (Ilokano) but thanks to the language Filipino I can understand them and I learned a little bit of Ilokano. As you can see, I came from Manila and transferred here in Vigan, and it's obvious that I cannot speak Ilocano. But thanks to our common language, I can understand them and I learned a little bit in speaking in Ilocano.

Importance of Nutritious Foods

          Nutrition plays a very important role in our lives, it could help to extend or decrease our life span as well as define our degree of livelihood as we progress into old age.
          Adequate nutrition intake is indeed needed in our body. This can improve our health and body. Like eating food rich in minerals and vitamins can increase body resistance against disease, food rich in protein can help in building and repairing body cells and tissues, and food rich in carbohydrates provides heat and energy to the body. One of the nutritious foods is vegetables. Vegetables are one of the most natural foods and contain different vitamins, minerals and thousands of other plant chemicals known to provide health benefits. Eating vegetables can reduced many diseases. Vegetables have generous amounts of vitamins that can regulate metabolism and vitamins are also used to convert the fats and carbohydrates into energy. 
          Now we can see the benefits that we can get from the vegetables and many nutritious foods. So starting today, let's eat more of it and stay away from the junk foods to maintain our healthy body.

Letter to the President

Dear Mr. President,

          A pleasant day to you sir. first of all I would like to thank you for making this Phillipines a better nation. and in the past years that you served our country, I can see great improvements in the Phillipines. we are very thankful that you've became our president. but ther's something bothering me, it's all about the childrens living in the streets. Most of them now can commit crimes at their age like stealing foods, money, gadgets and etc. I hope that you make an action in this like making a rules about imprisoning children with 8-17 age to lessen the crimes in our country.
          I hope that you will make this country much better and beautiful.
